Dr. Saeedul Hasan Siddiqui
Unani physician and hijama practitioner in Okhla, New Delhi. Registered with the Delhi Bhartiya Chikitsa Parishad under the Ministry of AYUSH framework, and practising continuously since 1981.

Forty years in one neighbourhood
Dr. Siddiqui qualified with a B.I.M.S. from Jamia Hamdard, New Delhi, in 1981, and has practised in Abul Fazal Enclave ever since. His work combines hijama cupping with classical Unani herbal prescribing — used together where both help, and always after an assessment.
His patients come most often for back, neck and knee pain, migraine, hair fall, acne and digestive complaints — many after other treatments have not given them the relief they wanted. Where another specialist should also be involved, he says so.
He sees every patient personally for the consultation. Treatments, including wet cupping, are then carried out by him or by our trained therapists (female therapists for women) under his supervision.

A patient once travelled from Ghaziabad expecting wet cupping for a headache. I sent him for a scan instead. It turned out to be something a cupping session would never have touched. That is the job.
