Facial cupping for circulation and skin tone
Gentle, small suction cups moved across the face to stimulate circulation, reduce puffiness and support skin tone. Non-invasive, with no incisions.
Assessed by Dr. Saeedul Hasan Siddiqui, B.I.M.S. before any treatment begins.

If your situation is not on this list, ask anyway — the consultation is free and Dr. Siddiqui will tell you if hijama is not the right answer.
- Dull, tired-looking skin
- Puffiness, especially in the morning
- Fine lines and loss of firmness
- Uneven tone or pigmentation
- Congestion along the jaw and cheeks
What happens at your appointment
Nothing is done before you have been assessed, and the assessment costs nothing.
Skin assessment
Skin type, sensitivity, and any active acne, eczema or recent cosmetic procedure.
Cleansing and oil
The face is cleansed and a light oil applied so the cups glide rather than fix in place.
Gliding cupping
Small cups are moved in short strokes along the jaw, cheeks and forehead. No incisions, no marks in most cases.
Aftercare
Sun protection and gentle products for 48 hours. Makeup can usually be worn the next day.
What this treatment can and cannot do
Improved surface circulation and lymphatic drainage, visible the same day.
Facial cupping is always dry cupping — no blades, no bleeding.
Suction is kept light; the technique is adjusted to your skin’s tolerance.
Best results come from a short course rather than a one-off session.

If hijama is not the right treatment for your condition, I will tell you at the consultation and refer you to a conventional doctor. I would rather lose a booking than treat someone I should not.
Dr. Saeedul Hasan Siddiqui, B.I.M.S.Hijama for face · Practising since 1981Hijama for face — your questions
Will facial cupping leave marks?
Gliding cupping with light suction does not normally leave the circular marks associated with body cupping. Slight redness for an hour or two is common.
Can I have it with active acne?
Not over inflamed, pustular acne — the suction can spread infection. For acne we treat the body instead; see our acne page.
Is it safe after Botox or fillers?
Wait at least two weeks and tell us what you have had. If in doubt, check with the clinician who performed the procedure.
How long do the results last?
The immediate brightness lasts a few days. A course of four to six sessions, then occasional maintenance, gives a longer-lasting effect.
