Is a female therapist always available?
Not at every hour of every day, which is why we ask you to mention it when you book. Once we know, the appointment is scheduled with a female therapist.
Can I have hijama during my period?
We usually advise waiting until your period has finished, particularly for wet cupping. Dry cupping for pain may still be appropriate — ask when you book.
Can I have hijama while pregnant?
No. Several cupping points are avoided entirely in pregnancy, and we decline to treat pregnant patients. Tell us if there is any possibility you are pregnant.
Can I bring someone with me?
Yes. You are welcome to bring a family member or friend into the consultation and, if you prefer, into the treatment room.
