Dr. Saeedul Hasan Siddiqui, B.I.M.S.Unani herbal treatment · Practising since 1981Unani herbal treatment — your questions
Is Unani medicine safe alongside allopathic medication?
Often, but not always — which is why we ask for your full medication list. Dr. Siddiqui will tell you if a remedy should be spaced apart from a prescription drug or avoided entirely.
How long do I need to take the remedies?
Most courses are reviewed at three to four weeks. Chronic conditions may need longer, but you should always know why you are still taking something.
Are the herbs prepared at the clinic?
Remedies are dispensed at the clinic from established Unani pharmacopoeia formulations, with dosage written for your case.
Can I have herbal treatment without cupping?
Yes. Many patients come only for Unani treatment. Equally, if cupping alone will do, you will not be prescribed anything extra.
